The famed hills, which appear more like jagged volcanoes, upon which the Scottish capital was constructed were visible as my jet circled the city on a June morning. There aren't any high-rise buildings as in London or New York. St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh's tallest structure, is 295 feet tall.
